Miss Montana has begun the journey to Normandy to join the D-Day Squadron and the Daks Over Normandy in commemorating the 75th Anniversary of D-Day, which takes place on June 6, 2019.

The D-Day Squadron will be making their journey across the North Atlantic, on what is known as a Blue Spruce Route. Volunteers have been working hard to get the former firefighting plane ready to travel to France for the 75th anniversary of D-Day. Miss Montana is scheduled to participate in a reenactment of the invasion, including dropping jumpers from Montana.

Upon completing the journey, Miss Montana will return home to tour the country representing the state of Montana.
