Tushar Jalan, a youth from Guwahati, will take oath along with his team on July 12, 2020, as the head of Rotaract District 3240.

Jalan was elected as the district Rotaract representative of Rotaract District 3240 in January 2019.

The Rotaract District 3240 includes Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura, and parts of West Bengal.

“Amit More from Tinsukia, Rajarshi Sinha from Silchar and Honth Dhungyel from Gangtok will take oath as district secretaries,” said Rtr. Tushar Jalan in a statement.

The team will govern the year 2020-21 till 2020-21.

Tushar Jalan belongs to the Rotaract Club of Guwahati Luit and their club will virtually host the swearing-in ceremony which is named Pratishthan.

Rtr. Jalan said Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal and state governor Prof Jagdish Mukhi have congratulated him ahead of the oath-taking ceremony.

“The event will include guests from all over South Asia,” Rtr. Jalan informed.
