District of Columbia Tax Office Issues Income, Sales, Excise, Property Tax Filing Deadline Reminder

The District of Columbia Office of Tax and Revenue (OTR) May 26 issued a corporate income, individual income, trust income, property, excise, and sales tax filing deadline reminder due to COVID-19. The due dates include: 1) June 1 to file 2021 real property income and expense reports; 2) June 15 to file ballpark fee returns; 3) July 15 to file individual income, fiduciary, franchise, and partnership tax returns; and 4) June 20 to file sales and use tax returns for the period ending May 31 and July 20 for periods ending Feb. 29 and March 31.
