A mum-of-three says her mould-infested home leaves her sobbing daily as she fears for her family's health.
Lisa Marsay is distraught at the thought of spending Christmas and the winter months in her "bombsite" home.
And she has pleaded for Your Homes Newcastle to move the family somewhere safer.
The 41-year-old told Chronicle Live: "I have a 15-month-old son and I can't put him on the floor in case he picks the fungus up and eats it."
Lisa claims the problems started shortly after the family moved into the home in Westerhope, Newcastle, in August.

"I noticed black patches around September and since then it has just got worse and worse," she claimed.
"They sent inspectors out and they confirmed damp.
"A plasterer came but he said 'I've only been given a couple of hours for this job, there's no way I could do it - I'd need days'."
The home is so bad that Lisa has resorted to using duct tape to hold down the wallpaper to stop son Hunter from touching the damp.
She said: "My son was two months premature and has problems with his chest anyway, but he's had issues since we moved in.

"I had cancer a few years ago so my immune system is already poor to start with, but it is affecting us all.
"Even my own GP has told us we should get out as a matter of urgency and I've been in tears trying to get this sorted out."
She also claims carpets, which she spent £1,000 on just a few months ago, are now "ruined".
Lisa believes the property needs a full refurbishment to make it safe to live in.
And after months of struggling to resolve the situation, Lisa contacted her local councillor George Pattison for help.
The Labour councillor visited the property himself and said he was left "horrified".
"It is inhabitable - it is disgraceful," he added.
He emailed senior figures at the charity, pleading for them to make the family's plight a "priority".
According to the former Lord Mayor, Your Homes Newcastle acted quickly on his request.
However, the family's hope of moving were quickly dashed when the organisation instead deemed the problems could be fixed.

"It is a complete bombsite and it would need a complete refurbishment," added the councillor.
Your Homes Newcastle has since told ChronicleLive it will "support" Lisa if she wants to look for another property.
“We apologise to Ms Marsay for any distress caused and continue to work closely with her to rectify the situation," said Ian Gallagher, assistant director of Operational Property Services.
"We have now identified the source of the leak and will carry out repairs to the property at a time convenient to Ms Marsay.
"Our damp and mould specialist, EnviroVent, has also carried out a full inspection of the property.
"We have asked that the report is returned as a matter of priority and we will ensure that we follow all the recommendations that are made.
“If Ms Marsay would like to look into rehousing options we will support her with this process.”
For Lisa, a new start can't come quick enough.
"I'm supposed to be looking forward to Christmas and I can't think of anything else but the damp," she said.
"I feel like nobody cares about the way we are expected to live."
