Inside 'horror' home that leaves mum-of-three sobbing every day

Lisa Marsay, 41, from Westerhope, Newcastle, is desperate for the damp walls to be repaired and claims carpets, which she spent £1,000 on just a few months ago, are now "ruined"

A mum-of-three says her mould-infested home leaves her sobbing daily as she fears for her family's health.

Lisa Marsay is distraught at the thought of spending Christmas and the winter months in her "bombsite" home.

And she has pleaded for Your Homes Newcastle to move the family somewhere safer.

The 41-year-old told Chronicle Live: "I have a 15-month-old son and I can't put him on the floor in case he picks the fungus up and eats it."

Lisa claims the problems started shortly after the family moved into the home in Westerhope, Newcastle, in August.
