Hamilton County Has 3 More COVID Deaths; Tennessee Has 24 Deaths

The Hamilton County Health Department reported Thursday that there have been three more deaths from coronavirus, bringing the toll to 59. 

Total cases now are 6,501 in Hamilton County, up 121. There are 5,097 people that have recovered from the virus in the county.

The number of COVID patients in Intensive Care has decreased one since Wednesday to 24. There are 75 COVID patients hospitalized as well as 14 more suspected cases. Of those, 35 are Hamilton County residents.

The number of active cases in Hamilton County is listed at 1,345, an increase of 34 since Wednesday.

Tennessee had 24 more deaths bringing the toll to 1,313. 

There were 2,118 new cases in the state for a total of 128,511.

There were 94 more patients hospitalized to bring that total to 5,648.

There have been 89,151 people recover from the virus.

Testing numbers are above 1.78 million.

Shelby County: 23,943 cases, up 158; 319 deaths, up 4

Davidson County: 21,280 cases, up 236; 221 deaths

Knox County: 4,946 cases, up 94; 41 deaths, up 1

Bledsoe County:  727 cases, up 10; 2 deaths

Bradley County: 2,066 cases, up 53; 15 deaths

Franklin County: 359 cases, up 16; 4 deaths

Grundy County: 124 cases, up 2; 2 deaths

Marion County: 239 cases, up 9; 5 deaths

McMinn County: 583 cases, up 16; 20 deaths

Meigs County: 113 cases, up 4; no deaths

Monroe County: 469 cases, up 11; 10 deaths, up 1

Polk County: 224 cases, up 11; 5 deaths, up 1

Rhea County: 566 cases, up 19; 2 deaths

Sequatchie County: 115 cases, up 2; 1 death
