Authorities on Saturday seized a van believed to be connected to the shooters in the Jersey City attack that left four people — including a cop — dead, officials said.
The FBI discovered the 2001 Ford van on Central Avenue near South Center Street in Orange, New Jersey, authorities said.
The Essex County Sheriff’s Office bomb squad assisted with the seizure, and the area was later given the all-clear.
The vehicle, which had New Jersey plates, is believed to have been previously owned by gunman David Anderson, 47, a spokesperson for the Essex County Sheriff’s Office said.
Anderson and fellow attacker Francine Graham were both shot dead by cops after they stormed a kosher market Tuesday and gunned down a detective and three others.
The pair were reportedly lovers who were living together out of a van at the time of the deadly shooting.
The FBI is investigating the slayings as a “domestic terror event” based on the killers’ ties to Jewish hate groups, officials said Thursday.
