Four people arrested after woman injured in Cardiff stabbing

The woman received an injury to her leg which is not life-threatening but required hospital treatment. Police said four men aged between 23 and 42 were in custody

Four men have been arrested after a woman was allegedly stabbed in the leg.

Police said the men – aged 42, 27, 25 and 23 – were arrested after an assault in the Adamsdown area of Cardiff.

A 40-year-old local woman was admitted to hospital with a non-life threatening injury to her leg.

Emergency services were called to a house in Longcross Street at around 7.40pm on Friday.

A spokesman for South Wales Police said: "Officers were called to Longcross Street following reports of a stabbing at an address."

He said the four men were currently in police custody and added: "It is understood that those believed to be involved are known to one another."
