Four-star California quarterback Miller Moss committed to USC on Monday over Alabama, LSU and UCLA.
Moss, a rising senior at Bishop Alemany in Mission Hills, Calif., is the 8th-ranked quarterback in the nation in the Class of 2021, according to the 247 composite rankings.
The quarterback ranked just ahead of him, Jake Garcia of La Habra, Calif., also is committed to the Trojans.
“USC made a lot of sense to me for a multitude of reasons,” Moss told SI.com in an exclusive diary post. “Yes, it was my school growing up. Yes, it was my ‘dream school.’ But it also made a ton of sense for me in terms of a lot of practical reasons. I can’t be happier, and I can’t be more excited to go in there and have as much success as I can.”
Moss completed 219-of-319 passes for 3,118 yards and 28 touchdowns as a junior, according to MaxPreps.
Only one of the top 18 senior quarterbacks in the nation is uncommitted at this point – No. 1 Caleb Williams of Washington, D.C.
