A man and woman have been arrested after the death of a three-year-old girl in the West Midlands.
Police were called to an address in Kingshurst, Solihull, on Sunday morning to reports that a child had died.
Paramedics also attended shortly after 11am but the girl was pronounced dead at the scene.
West Midlands Police said a 21-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of the wilful neglect of a child after an investigation was launched into the death.
A 21-year-old man was also held on suspicion of the wilful ill-treatment of a child, the force added.
Both suspects have been released on bail as the investigation continues.
