CBS expert believes UK could be “front and center” if Cade Cunningham leaves Oklahoma State

Oklahoma State just got a postseason ban. Will it lead to Cade Cunningham landing elsewhere?

On Friday, the Oklahoma State Cowboys’ basketball program was hit with a postseason ban for the 2020-21 season.

Cade Cunningham is the No. 1 overall player in the 2020 class and ended up picking Oklahoma State with Kentucky being viewed as the runner up in the recruitment.

However, could this recent ban from the NCAA lead to him reconsidering his decision?

Gary Parrish of CBS Sports had some interesting things to say about this topic on his “Eye on College Basketball” podcast Friday.

“His brother is on staff, that probably matters, some,” Parrish said of Cunningham possibly sticking with Oklahoma State, “but I promise you, every school that was in there before he signed with Oklahoma State, they’ll be back in there right now. Kentucky probably front and center.”

John Calipari and his staff have already signed the No. 1 overall recruiting class for 2020 but adding Cunningham would be huge for Kentucky heading into the season.

It still seems highly unlikely that this could occur, but it is still something that the BBN would love to see happen, and we will have to wait and see if Cunningham decides to even look at other options since his brother is still on staff at Oklahoma State.
