Travis d’Arnaud gets the start at DH tonight against the Yankees

The Braves send Touki Toussaint to the mound against the Yankees this evening. The lineup features an interesting look that sees both Travis d’Arnaud and Tyler Flowers in the lineup. With lefty Jordan Montgomery on the mound, the Braves loaded up on right handed bats plus Freddie Freeman who is good against, well, everyone. Tyler Flowers gets the start at catcher and the righty bat d’Arnaud has been one of the Braves hotter hitters of late so he gets the nod. Acuna Jr. stays in center with Ender Inciarte being extra unplayable against a lefty and Ozuna moves over to, gulp, right field while Adam Duvall gets to man left field this evening.

For the Yankees, the Braves are fortunate to not have to deal with Giancarlo Stanton as he is on the injured list with an injured hamstring. Mike Ford gets the start at DH this evening and Clint Frazier, who seems to have a cult following if the reaction amongst Yankees Twitter is any indication, is not in the lineup. As always, the Yankees lineup is still loaded with scary bats led by one of the early AL MVP frontrunners Aaron Judge.
