India Today-Karvy Insights Mood of the Nation survey

It has been a tough year. For the past few months, India has been confronted by a host of issues -- from the coronavirus pandemic to escalating India-China border tensions to a constantly dipping economy. How has Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government responded to these crises? India Today along with Karvy Insights sets out to map the Mood of the Nation.

From politics, governance and foreign relations to entertainment and sports, India Today brings you the extensive India Today-Karvy Insights Mood of the Nation survey that will measure the pulse of the country on a range of issues.

The survey was carried out across 97 parliamentary constituencies in 194 assembly constituencies in 19 states. A total of 12,021 interviews were conducted in Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal. 67 per cent of these interviews were in rural areas while the remaining 33 per cent were carried out in urban areas.
