Ridgefield's Keebler Elves Welcome Tiny Townsfolk Neighbors to Spring Valley Road

The COVID-19 virus has caused many people to migrate from cities and populated areas to the countryside. In 2018, however, the Keebler Elves – famous for their fudge and coconut cookies – moved their permanent residence to Spring Valley Road in Ridgefield. In their short time as Ridgefield residents, they have proven to be model citizens, following all town ordinances when remodeling their kitchen and building their second-floor edition – complete with a ladder, staircase, and Juliet balcony. However, their kindness and generosity have never been more apparent than in these dark times as they offer hand sanitizer to all passersby, follow the social distancing guidelines, and are always sporting a protective face mask.

Nothing is more demonstrative of this gracious behavior than the manner in which they welcomed their entire extended family to Spring Valley Road. Their grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins traveled several hundred miles to escape their own overly populated home town. As they had to travel lightly, they were unable to bring some of the essentials to the unfinished vacation home which they now are confined to. But do not worry as the Keebler Elves have lent them tools to complete the home – Clorox-ing each individual tool down before sending them over. Additionally, the elves also gifted the fairies an iPad as a welcome present so they can FaceTime and Zoom their family and friends.

They entire Keebler family would like to say thank you to the Ridgefield community for being so generous and kindhearted during these hard times. They would also like to invite anyone who pleases to come and visit them at their new home. They are located a couple of yards from the original Keebler home past 204 Spring Valley Road.
