A teenager whose body was found near a river in Truro has been described as a "beautiful, unique and creative young woman" by her family.
Police were called to a river bank on Friday morning after a passer-by discovered Pearl Bamford's body.
The 19-year-old's family said: "Pearl was a beautiful unique creative young woman with a great future ahead of her.
"She shone brightly and her light will be sorely missed. Her family and friends are mourning the tragic and untimely loss of their wonderful cherished daughter and friend."
In a statement, Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Enquiries into the death of Pearl have been completed and police await results of a formal post-mortem.
"Family are aware of these developments and this death is currently being treated as unexplained; this matter is not thought to be suspicious."
The recovery on Friday involved the local coastguard team, as well as Falmouth Lifeboat service, Portscatho Rescue Team, National Police Air Service and the Coastguard Area Commander.
The team say an area from Truro to Malpas was searched - a distance of about a mile.
