Covid-19: No deaths reported in Scotland for three days

No coronavirus deaths have been reported in Scotland for 72 hours.

Scottish Government figures show zero deaths from the virus on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, keeping the death toll including presumed Covid deaths at 4161.

There are four new cases of Covid-19 in Scotland, taking the country’s caseload over the course of the pandemic to 18,300.

A total of 682 people are in hospital overall with confirmed or suspected coronavirus, a drop of 20 on the day before.

Of those, eight are being treated in intensive care, a fall of three.

In total, 4096 Scots hospitalised with the virus since March 5 have been able to go home.
