3:30 P.M. MONDAY UPDATE: Because of increased sales across the country, the projected jackpot has been raised to $191 million.

10:05 A.M. MONDAY UPDATE: Nobody has come forward yet to claim the prize, said store manager Barbara Martinez, noting the winner can also claim the prize by going to the state office or other offices.

Somebody won Friday's $188-million Mega Millions jackpot prize with a ticket purchased at Primm Valley Lotto.

The winning numbers were 17, 37, 53, 54, 61 and the Mega Ball of 8.

The winner has not yet come forward.

"It is the largest Mega Millions jackpot ticket the store has ever sold," said Barbara Martinez, a supervisor at the lotto store. "People sure are talking about it."

In a news release late Saturday morning, the California Lottery said the winner will have the option of taking the full $188 million spread out over 30 years, or a lump sum amount of $112.3 million (less federal taxes).

"We will not know who the winner is until the ticket is claimed. We strongly encourage last night's winner to immediately sign the back of your ticket in ink and keep it in a safe place until they can get to one of the nine California Lottery District Office Locations. The winner has one year from the date of the draw to claim their prize."

The store will receive a bonus of up to 0.5 percent of the prize from the California State Lottery.
