Crews search for missing hiker last seen on Mt. Charleston trail

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Crews with Red Rock Search and Rescue are searching for Daniel Reza, 35, who was last seen hiking on Mt. Charleston.

Reza’s disappearance was first reported to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department on Aug. 25, when he was last seen near Warm Springs Road and Decatur Boulevard.

However, according to Brian Zink with Red Rock Search and Rescue, the post was updated Saturday with Reza's last known location being on a trail at Mt. Charleston, but he has not returned to his car.

Reza was spotted over the week at various trails.

Zink is asking the public to keep an eye out while Search and Rescue crews look over the Labor Day weekend off trails, along ridgelines and at the base of ledges.

Reza is described as white, 5’10”, 185 pounds with brown eyes and hair.

Anyone who sees Reza should render any needed aid and call 911.
