LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Authorities are investigating a deadly shooting reported early Wednesday morning in the west valley, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police.
Officers got a report around 2:40 a.m. about a person shot in the 1700 block of S. Rainbow Boulevard near Oakey Boulevard, said Officer Larry Hadfield with LVMPD.
They arrived and found a man with multiple gunshot wounds, and he was pronounced dead at the scene, Hadfield said.
The Clark County Coroner's Office said the man shot was 34-year-old, Anthony Esposito. His death is being ruled a homicide.

No suspect information was immediately available, though police said in a statement that investigators believe the victim left a nearby business and met with an unknown man.
There was an argument, and as the victim walked away the gunman fired multiple rounds before leaving the scene by car.
