Flash flood watch issued for Las Vegas valley

UPDATE: A Flash Flood Watch has also been issued for the Las Vegas valley until 11 p.m. on Wednesday.

ORIGINAL STORY:

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for the areas around Nipton Road and Mountain Pass just south of Primm Wednesday.

The warning is in effect through 1:30 p.m., according to the NWS.

Drivers are advised not to try to drive across a flooded road.
