PRIMM, Nev. (KSNV) — Cell phone video showed Tuesday’s dust storm causing a big mess in Primm.
“Oh my gosh, it’s been absolutely insane out here,” said Joseph Squellati, who works in Primm.
Squellati says the dust storm made its way into Whiskey Pete’s.
“We could taste the dust coming into the casino. It set off all the fire alarms because it was so thick, and then we came out, literally, it was like night,” he said
Winds even caused dust and debris to blow onto Interstate 15, making road conditions dangerous for drivers.

“It was crazy for them because most of them traveled through here so they are not from Vegas or this area, and so to experience something like this, they are not used to it,” Squellati said.
Squellati has never seen winds move so quickly in Primm. He’s glad it started slowing down.
“You couldn’t see the sun, you couldn’t see the parking lot, like nothing. That was just absolutely insane,” he said.
