The Las Vegas Raiders family now includes the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians in Southern California, which joins Allegiant Airlines as a Raiders partner at Allegiant Stadium.

As many Las Vegans know, San Manuel is very proud of its casino about 70 miles outside Los Angeles, and they say they are now thrilled to a new partner of Raider Nation.

“It’s so exciting. It makes us very happy because through philanthropy we always want to build relationships, want to build partnerships,” said Lynn Valbuena, Chairwoman of San Manuel Band of Mission Indians. “We want to see things happen, we want to make the fans happy.“

Loren Gill, the CEO of the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians says the invitation from the Raiders organization is an honor and believes the partnership will benefit the Raiders and the entire Fanbase both here and in Southern California. “We were approached by the Raiders and they asked us if we’d be interested in a long-term commitment to the team moving here to Las Vegas,” Gill said. “Many of their customers are our customers as well, so it will allow us to build a partnership to send our customers to Las Vegas.”

Raiders President Marc Badain says the move will also re-solidify the Raiders' long-standing ties to Southern California.

“San Manuel is a leader in the Southern California market. We have a tremendous fan base down there,” said

Badain said, “A number of our PSL holders are coming in from the Southern California market. It’s good for Las Vegas, it’s good for the tourism aspect of the project, it’s really coming to fruition.”

Badain says this will also give San Manuel it’s own section and a high profile when Allegiant Stadium opens next summer.
