2 COVID-related deaths at Jacksonville long-term care facility

The Morgan County Office of Emergency Management and the Morgan County Department of Public Health reported two more people with COVID-19 have died, a 90-year-old woman and a 76-year-old man.

Both individuals were residents at Jacksonville Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Officials also announced seven new COVID-19 cases in Morgan County.

Two of the new cases are residents at Jacksonville Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, while the others are inmates at Jacksonville Correctional Center.

Morgan County has now reported a total of 348 COVID-19 cases, including six deaths.

Of the 348 cases, 189 have been released from restrictions.
