Check your lotto ticket if you bought it in Jacksonville or Chicago!

The Illinois Lottery says winning tickets were sold at a truck stop in Jacksonville and a convenience store in Chicago on Tuesday.

The two lucky winners will split the $500,000 jackpot, resulting in a $250,000 prize for each.

The winning tickets were purchased at Gateway Newstand, 2 N. Riverside Plaza, in Chicago and Hannels FS Truck Stop, 2003 W. Morton Ave., in Jacksonville. Both tickets matched all five numbers – 8 - 18- 28 - 32 - 35 – to win the jackpot.

The Illinois Lottery urges the lucky winner to sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place until they visit one of the Lottery’s five Prize Centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights. Winners have one year from the original drawing date to claim their prize.
