Here are six Oklahoma City-area swimmers to watch this winter:

Boys

Aiden Hayes, So., Norman North: Last season's All-City Swimmer of the Year is off to a huge start. He made three championship finals and one consolation final in the junior national meet while setting 10 Oklahoma records.

Caleb Gregory, Jr., Bridge Creek: Gregory has been on an upward trend as Bridge Creek has built a swim program that pairs well with Carl Albert. Last season, he won the Class 5A 50- and 100-yard freestyle at state.

Caleb Sullivan, Sr., Norman: One of the more dominant swimmers in the West, Sullivan is looking to build off a junior campaign that saw him win the 200 IM and finish second in the 100 breaststroke.

Girls

Chloe Case, Sr., Edmond Santa Fe: All three Edmond programs were hit hard by graduation, but Case returns after a solid showing at the state meet in the 200-yard freestyle and the 500-yard freestyle.

Hanna Newby, Sr., McGuinness: The two-time All-City Swimmer of the Year has set or broken her own records each year in the 200 IM and the 100 breaststroke at the state meet. An Auburn signee, Newby is poised to continue the streak.

Marcia Shaw, So., Stillwater: After a breakout season in which Shaw won two events to help the Pioneers win the Class 5A state title, she returns looking to continue improving in Class 6A.
