A 19-year-old man died Thursday after being shot in northeast Oklahoma City Wednesday afternoon, police reported.

About 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Marquise Bailey was in the backseat of a car traveling east on NE 10, near Interstate 35, when people in a vehicle in front of the car opened fire. The shooting was thought to have taken place in the 3300 block of NE 10, but the driver of the car turned around and sought help at a nearby McDonald’s.

Bailey was taken to a local hospital where he died Thursday, police said. Two people in the car with Bailey were not injured.

The vehicle used in the shooting is described as a gray Chrysler 300 with dark tinted windows and factory wheels. No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.
