Crashes in storms cause injuries, delays Tuesday morning in Oklahoma City

Thunderstorms with heavy rain contributed to a number of wrecks across Oklahoma City Tuesday morning, causing injuries and delays, police reported.

A tractor-trailer crashed near Interstate 235 and Interstate 44, and I-44 was narrowed to one lane in each direction between N Western Avenue and Lincoln Boulevard, the Oklahoma Department of Transportation reported. Delays were expected to last through the morning rush hour.
