Comeback Season
Rodrea Echols had a big time bounce-back from a knee injury in her first game back at Utah Valley. Despite missing six-straight games, Echols came out firing against the Wolverines. She dropped a career-high 19 points on a perfect 6-6 from the field. She made four threes, also a career-high.

Scouting the Vaqueros
UT Rio Grande Valley holds a 10-15 record and a 5-7 record in WAC play. The Aggies and Vaueros met in Las Cruces on Jan. 23, with Adrianna Henderson's layup with 0.2 seconds remaining in overtime giving the Aggies a 76-75 win. The two teams also played to double-overtime in last season's WAC Championship game. NM State won that game 76-73.

Trelynn Tyler is the Vaquero's leading scorer at 12.7 points per game and scored 10 against the Aggies in the last matchup. Jordan Agustus (11.1) and Amara Graham (10.3) also average double-figures for UTRGV.

As a squad, the Vaqueros are solid offensively with their 68.0 points per game ranking third in the WAC. However, they also give up 66.7 points per game which ranks sixth. UT Rio Grande Valley leads the league in turnover margin (+2.96).
