A charming three-story house that’s straight out of a fairytale—except it’s in New York City—has just listed, asking $2.795 million.

The Tudor-style home, located in the planned community of Forest Hills Gardens, has six bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, a solarium, winter garden, and a large backyard shared with neighbors.

Some of its interior details include hardwood floors, an original staircase, and wood-burning fireplace. Its facade, with steep gabled roofs, is covered in ivy.

In 1909, British urban theorist Sir Ebenezer Howard hired urban planner Grosvenor Atterbury and landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted Jr. (from the firm that co-designed Central Park) to build the Forest Hills Gardens community, inspired by the “garden city ideal,” according to the New York Times. The neighborhood is now an exclusive enclave with curved streets, four residents-only parks, and multiple Tudor-style homes. Mildred Pierce, an HBO miniseries starring Kate Winslet was filmed in the neighborhood back in 2010.

The property is located at 17 Bow Street, between 71st Avenue and 71st Road, near the Forest Hills Long Island Rail Road stop, the E and F trains at 75 Avenue, and Flushing Meadows-Corona Park.

Taxes for the house are $1,555/month. Daniel Kandinov and Natalia Kaminskaya of Corcoran have the listing.
