Bhubaneswar: An IndiGo flight made an emergency landing at the Biju Patnaik International Airport today after a three-year-old baby fell sick.

According to reports, the Indigo 905 flying from Guwahati to Chennai was diverted to the Biju Patnaik International Airport after the baby developed seizure. The plane landed at the airport at around 9:27 AM, official sources said.

Soon after the flight's landing, medical assistance was immediately provided to the baby at Bhubaneswar airport. Following advice from doctors at the airport, the infant was later shifted to the Capital Hospital for further treatment.

In another incident, an Indigo flight 6E 3612 flying from Mumbai to Delhi was delayed for one hour after a passenger travelling with another private carrier raised a bomb alarm.

Reportedly, the passenger was found to be mentally unsound and the flight resumed its journey following the delay from the Mumbai airport.
