Special Screening Of Tarang Cine's ‘Khusi’ Held In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The special screening of upcoming Odia movie ‘Khusi’ was held at Odissi Research Centre here today. With an aim to create awareness against sexual abuse of children, the movie produced by Tarang Cine Productions depicts a story based on real life incidents.

'Khusi' narrates how a girl subjected to sexual assault, struggles to come back to the mainstream society. Directed by Tapas Sargharia, the flick will hit theatres on August 23.

Apart from Mihir Das, Madhumita Mohanty and Soma Bhaumik, several other eminent actors are part of the movie.

Creative Head of Tarang Cine Productions, Ranjan Satpathy said, “We are sensitive towards the issue that prevails in the society. We are highlighting the same through this movie.”

For the first time, Tarang Cine Productions has produced a parallel cinema.
