Oklahoma City man drowns at Lake Thunderbird

NORMAN, Okla. (KOKH)--Justin Holland, 44, of Oklahoma City, drowned Sunday night around 7:45 p.m. at Lake Thunderbird.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Holland was floating on his back approximately 80 feet from shore when a vessel caused him to struggle and go underwater.

OHP said that Holland never resurfaced.

Holland was recovered and pronounced dead by the Norman Fire Department.

According to the report, Holland had an odor of alcohol on him when he was recovered.
