Police: 1 in custody after chase, crash in southwest Oklahoma City

One person is in custody after an overnight chase and crash through the metro.

Oklahoma City police say the chase started near SW 44th and Robinson around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say the suspect drove through a chain-link fence and got onto an I-44 on-ramp near May. The suspect then reportedly hit another car and fled on foot.

Officers later found the suspect hiding in a tree behind a home near NW 39th and Drexel.

No word on any injuries so far.
