Woman, 74, charged with Murder after shooting, killing her husband in downtown OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) — Faye Richard, 74, has been charged with murder after police said she shot and killed her husband in downtown Oklahoma City.

Richard was formally charged on Wednesday in Oklahoma County District Court.

Earlier this month Kenneth Richard was taking his wife to the hospital for a psychological evaluation police said.

Once Faye realized where they were going, police said, she pulled out a gun and shot him.

Kenneth was taken to the hospital but died four days later.

Faye is being held in the Oklahoma County Jail without bond.
