Hui He is set to celebrate her 15th Anniversary at the Arena di Verona.

The soprano will become the first female singer in the history to have sung on this stage for 15 years non-stop.

The soprano made her debut on July 13, 2005 as Liù in Puccini’s “Turandot” alongside Jose Cura, Andrea Gruber, and under the baton of Lü Jia. She went on to win the Zenatello Prize as the best debutant of the season.

Since her debut with the festival and theater, she has performed the title roles of “Aida,” “Tosca,” “Madama Butterfly,” Amelia in “Un ballo in maschera,” Leonora in “Il Trovatore”, and Verdi Requiem. With the Teatro Filarmonico di Verona she has performed the roles of Amelia in “Un ballo in maschera,” Leonora in “La forza del destino,” and recently “Adriana Lecouvreur.”

She returns this summer to Verona for two performances of “Tosca” and one as “Aida.”
