Socialite in alleged Jew-bashing gets community service

Socialite Jacqueline Kent Cooke took a plea deal Tuesday in her assault case, in which she’s accused of calling an elderly woman a Jew before bashing the woman’s son in the head with a glass clutch outside a Manhattan restaurant.

Cooke, the daughter of late Washington Redskins owner Jack Kent Cooke, copped to disorderly conduct, which is not designated as a crime, and was sentenced to three days’ community service for the New Year’s Eve melee outside Upper East Side eatery Caravaggio’s.

Prosecutor Sarah McAteer said the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office was extending the offer because the complainant, Matthew Haberkorn, didn’t suffer serious injuries and is amenable to the disposition.

The 29-year-old, wearing a simple black blazer, capri slacks and nude pumps, didn’t say a word as she left court. She will have to return in January to prove she’s completed her community service.

The scuffle began as Haberkorn was leaving the fancy eatery with his family, and the millionairess allegedly barked at his mom, “Hurry up, you Jew.”

Haberkorn confronted her and the erratic blonde allegedly clocked Haberkorn in the head with her $400 Lulu Guinness WomenChloe Mirror Perspex Clutch, leaving a bloody gash on his head.

Cooke claimed at the time that Haberkorn’s mom had simply misheard her.

Her lawyer, Adam Miller, didn’t immediately return a request for comment.
