Katy Perry is just ‘a musician’ to health food icon Bob Moore

Katy Perry — who with fiancé Orlando Bloom just snapped up shares in Bragg Live Food, the famous apple cider vinegar producer — is doing a deep dive into the health food world, and went incognito to an organic products trade show, where “Grain God” Bob Moore of Bob’s Red Mill failed to recognize her.

We hear that the “Teenage Dream” singer, 34, was at the Natural Products Expo East in Baltimore, standing patiently in a long line to meet 90-year-old Moore and have him sign a book for her. But once Perry reached the venerable Grain God, an eyewitness told us, “I overheard Bob — who is a total icon in the health food space — say, ‘Who are you?’ And she was like, ‘I’m Katy.’

“And he said, ‘What do you do?’ She replied, ‘I’m a musician.’

Then Bob sweetly said, ‘Well, good luck to you’ . . . and then she left.” The witness added, “It was hilarious.”

Reps for Moore didn’t comment, but we’re told he’s a music lover and has two pianos in the mill at his Bob’s Red Mill HQ in Oregon that he plays daily, plus a grand piano at home.

Perry and Bloom, along with three others, bought Bragg in June.

Perry knew owner Patricia Bragg from growing up in Santa Barbara, Calif., where the company is based. Bragg has been the CEO of the company for 65 years.

“Patricia has been part of my family forever, even giving me my first guitar,” Perry said in a press release at the time of the deal. “It’s been a staple since my childhood . . . and continues to be a wellness remedy in my professional vocal career.”

Apple cider vinegar is said to lower blood sugar levels and help weight loss.

Bloom even credits the Bragg brand for bonding him and Perry.

When they went on a date early on, they both showed up with bottles of water that had vinegar added. “I was like, ‘No, this is it!’ ” he told Jimmy Fallon on “The Tonight Show.”

“It basically alkalines the system,” he said.

The Natural Products Expo ran through Saturday and reportedly included displays of CBD supplements for dogs, kombucha and crunchy “Moon Cheese.”
