Work will begin early next week as a Multnomah County crew replaces the culvert carrying Beaver Creek under Southeast Cochran Road with a new bridge.

The current culvert is too small and presents a barrier for fish passage. The creek has also shifted, which could eventually weaken the roadway. So the culvert is being replaced with a 60-foot-long bridge with a widened cross section. Work will begin Monday, June 24, and continue through October.
