Greg Dirks named new Wood Village city manager

Greg Dirks, who has served as Wood Village's human resources and records manager since 2008, will become the municipality's new city manager, effective in November.

Mayor Scott Harden announced the decision to hire Dirks — out of 31 applicants and four finalists — to take the place of retiring City Manager Bill Peterson at the Wood Village City Council meeting on Tuesday evening, Sept. 24.
