Man gets 6 years for fatal Troutdale crash

A 34-year-old man will spend a little more than 6 years in prison after being sentenced for a head-on collision involving speed and alcohol that caused the death of a woman described as being "quietly smart, humbly talented and an authentically kind human being."

Edward Johnson was sentenced to 75 months in prison in the Multnomah County Circuit Court Monday, May 4, for criminal negligence that killed Emma Quinn, 33. Johnson pleaded guilty to criminally negligent homicide, unauthorized use of a vehicle, driving under the influence of intoxicants, and fourth-degree assault.
