Police break up Woodburn funeral for violating virus orders

A funeral held in downtown Woodburn on Wednesday evening appeared to violate Governor Kate Brown's executive order, attracting complaints leading to an investigation by the Woodburn Police Department.

According to reports, Woodburn Police responded to citizen complaints at Metropolis Marketplace and Event Venue at 347 North Front Street on Wednesday and Thursday and observed a gathering determined to be a funeral wake.
