FREMONT, CA — Have you driven past the Warm Springs BART station lately?

The city of Fremont reports that the Warm Springs BART West Access Bridge and Plaza Project reached a significant milestone in late September when the truss span of the bridge was installed. This is a major safety feature.

In a release, the city reports that "the bridge will provide a pedestrian/bicycle connection between the BART station and the new residences, as well as major employers in the area. Construction activities for the elevator, escalator, and staircase, as well as the overall plaza, will intensify in the next couple of months."
