Little Variation In Latest High School Softball Poll

Eight teams remained the same, one moved up and another cracked the top 10 in the most recent balloting.

The top eight teams remained the same from last week in the latest Connecticut high school softball poll of coaches and media members.

Masuk stayed in the top spot, collecting 14 of 16 first-place votes, while Trumbull garnered the other two top nods to remain second. St. Joseph, Cheshire and Norwich Free Academy kept the third through fifth positions.

Here are the top 10, with last week's ranking in parentheses, as well as all other teams collecting votes.
