CT Coronavirus Deaths Hit 3,285: Town-By-Town
The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Connecticut has now exceeded 36,000, according to Gov. Ned Lamont.
CONNECTICUT — The number of coronavirus cases in Connecticut increased by 621 to 36,085 and the number of deaths rose by 66 to 3,285.
While the positive cases and deaths keep rising, the good news is that the number of hospitalizations continues to drop. There were 70 fewer hospitalizations and the current overall number is at 1,033.
Here are the current hospitalizations by county including their one-day increase or decrease: Fairfield 342, down 20; New Haven 367, down 27; Hartford 248, down 21; Middlesex 32, up one; New London 24, no change; Litchfield 14, no change; Windham 5, down one; and Tolland 1, down two.
