White Christmas Looks Likely In Early Forecast For Connecticut

The Weather Channel is expecting snow.

It's beginning to look a lot like a white Christmas. The first mainstream forecast to include Christmas Day has been issued – and it shows a holiday like the ones Bing Crosby used to know could be on the way.

The Weather Channel is predicting rain and snow on Christmas morning and snow showers return for Christmas night and snow accumulates less than an inch in Southern Connecticut. In Northern Connecticut, less than an inch of snow is forecast for the morning, and at night up to an inch of snow is possible.

Snow showers are also possible on Sunday, December 23 too. Christmas Eve looks quiet with temps in the mid 30s and dry.

The forecast lines up with long range predictions from the Farmers' Almanac and the Old Farmer's Almanac which both use secret formulas to forecast what's to come.

It should also be noted that forecasts 14 days in advance are notoriously unreliable.
