BRIDGEPORT, CT - A passenger stabbed an Uber driver in the hand Sunday morning, according to the Connecticut Post. The victim suffered a severe laceration and was listed in critical condition due to a loss of blood but is now in stable condition.

The incident occurred at 3:15 a.m. at East Main Street and Pennsylvania Avenue. It's unclear what led to the stabbing, The Post reported.

This isn't the first time rideshare drivers have been subjects of violence in the state. Last August, two Lyft drivers got into a fight at Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, which also resulted in a stabbing, FOX 61 reported.
