SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A small demonstration was staged across the street from the South Windsor Police Department Tuesday. It was one of many in the area that have formed over the past few days since the death of George Floyd in Minnesota while in police custody.

South Windsor police spokesman Sgt. Mark Cleverdon termed the rally "peaceful" and said it was set up at Nevers Road Park.

He added SWPD members were interacting with the paticipants throughout the day, while "engaging in open and purposeful conversation."
