WEST HARTFORD, CT — The first small-format Target store in Connecticut will soon be opening in Bishops Corner, and the retail giant will be conducting hiring events in mid-June.

The store is scheduled to open Aug. 18, 2019, and is now beginning to hire nearly 100 team members to help deliver a "great shopping experience for guests," company officials said. Interested candidates should apply at Target.com/careers ahead of job fairs taking place June 15 and 17.

The hiring events will be held from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn at 555 Corporate Drive in Windsor. Store leaders will conduct interviews with applicants. Walk-ins are also welcome.
