WEST HARTFORD, CT — The West Hartford AAA location has reopened as one of eight retail stores in Connecticut providing Department of Motor Vehicle licensing services.

Customers will need to make appointments in advance "in order to provide for social distancing," according to an announcement Wednesday. Previously, AAA services had been available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Deadlines for all licenses that expired or are set to expire between March 10 and June 30 have automatically been extended 180 days amid the coronavirus pandemic.
