Obituary: Tyler Curtis Cummings, 17, of Easton

Tyler attended Joel Barlow High School in Redding, and was a World Wrestling Entertainment super fan.

EASTON, CT — Tyler Curtis "Ty-Man" Cummings, age 17, beloved son of Stephen and Kelly Bolton Cummings, and adored brother to Casey Cummings, of Easton and formerly of the Black Rock section of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on July 16, 2019.

Tyler attended Joel Barlow High School in Redding. He was a member of Best Buddies, Unified Theater and Drama along with being honored as a member of the Joel Barlow Legacy Society. Tyler was a World Wresting Entertainment super fan and fulfilled his dream of attending Survivor Series through the Make-A-Wish Foundation this past November.

In addition to his parents and sister, Tyler's memory will be embraced by his grandparents, David and Christine Cummings, of Palm Desert, CA, Robert and Maryjane Norton, of Elgin, SC, Nancy Bolton, of Surfside Beach, SC; his aunts and uncles, Wendy and Jeffrey Diglio, of Norwalk, Nancy and David Burbine, of Barrington, RI, Michael Bolton, of Glendale, AZ, John Bolton, of Elgin, SC, Andy and Sarah Cummings, of St. Louis, MO; his cousins, Cooper and Kensey Diglio, David and William Burbine, Trent, Annika, and Kaia Bolton, Xavier Bolton, Graham, Bennett, and Michael Cummings; as well as, many dear friends. He was predeceased by his grandfather, William Bolton.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, July 20, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road in Fairfield Center. A service celebrating Tyler's life will take place on Sunday, July 21, at 3 p.m. in the Roger Ludlowe Middle School Auditorium, 689 Unquowa Road, in Fairfield.
