WINDSOR LOCKS, CT – A Windsor Locks woman has been charged with reckless endangerment after intentionally driving her car into another car with her child inside during an argument last week, according to Windsor Locks Police.

On May 28, Windsor Locks police were dispatched to 15 Manning road for reports of a disturbance and a vehicle smashing into other vehicles.

When officers arrived, they found a woman crying on the front lawn. A Chevy Suburban was parked across the driveway and a Mercedes Benz was smashed into the garage and garage door.

According to police, two men and a woman were arguing and combative before police arrived. The woman backed the Chevy up and intentionally drove it into the Mercedes, causing the Mercedes to go through the closed garage door with her soon still in the car, police said.

People were inside the home when the car went through the garage, police said.

Following the incident, Sheila Padilla was charged with breach of peace, reckless endangerment, risk of injury to a minor and criminal attempt at assault.

While she was being processed, Padilla complained of head pain from hitting the Mercedes with the Chevy and from being slammed to the ground by a juvenile, so she was released on $10,000 bond and transported to a local hospital for further evaluation, police said.

A juvenile was issued a juvenile summons and charged with breach of peace and. assault for their part in the incident, according to police.
